Thomas H. Conklin III, Attorney

Thomas, or Trey as he as always been called by friends and family, is an organized and detail oriented attorney.  He believes in giving honest and  factual advice, which the client can use to better understand their personal legal matter. Trey, grew up in Stigler, Oklahoma and graduated from Stigler High School in 1990.  He immediately started off in his adult life by joining the United States Marine Corps Reserve and graduating from the Marine Corps Recruit Depo in San Diego California in the fall of 1990. Trey attended Oklahoma State University earning a bachelor’s degree in English in 1996.  At that time he also completed his commitment to the Marine Corps, having reached the rank of Corporal.  He then went on to study Irish literature at the University of Limerick in Ireland.  After a short time working in sales, he decided to pursue further educational goals and was accepted into the law program at Oklahoma City University.  While attending law school, he participated in an exchange program sponsored by The University of Oklahoma at Oxford University in England.  While there he studied European Union law, and other cultural topics associated with the program.  Before he finished his time at O.C.U., he decided to take on another educational goal by pursuing a Masters Degree in Business Administration.  In the spring of 2002, he graduated with the degree of Juris Doctorate from the law school and a Masters degree from the Meinder’s School of Business at O.C.U.

Shortly after graduating, Trey returned to his hometown of Stigler.  He settled into his former surroundings and began a career helping the citizens of Haskell County and surrounding counties with their legal needs and issues.  He has practiced in various legal areas since, such as: estate planning, divorce, probate, criminal issues, guardianships, and land title examinations and quiet title actions.  During his years of practice, he has learned to understand and realize the type of legal problems that individuals in his community encounter and he has strived to help clients with their individual legal issues.

In the early part of 2014, Trey and his friend and fellow attorney, Stone Sanders, decided to make plans to form a law partnership to better pursue their personal goals and to better serve the community.  Together they formed the law firm of Conklin & Sanders P.L.L.C. in June of 2014.  Since the very first day of that new business venture, the two have been greatly received by their local community and surrounding counties.  They strive to continue their work, make advances for their firm, and provide better services to their community.
